That's just great writing, Philip. And I agree wholeheartedly with your concept of Tarantino. I recently heard him interviewed by Terry Gross on Fresh Air. He was so incredibly wrong about himself and his effect. Terry noticed this but let him wiggle out of her questions. He can fool Hollywood as well as star-crossed reviewers, unlike you. I'm glad to read your perceptive account, along with your musings of Phoenix and the always brilliant Hoffman.
