i submitted a comment yesterday which never appeared. strange. i merely expressed curiosity as to the above writer’s use of the presumed pejorative “neo-con” to describe those men gathered about Ahmadinejad, and what he expected us to underatnd by that.. are these Iranians too, as the definition has it, one-time ‘liberals’ who were subsequently swiftly and surely ‘mugged by reality’, or what?

i would appreciate it if somebody here might be good enough to enlarge on what they think the writer means by extending the presumed pejorative “neo-con” to describe the men around Ahmadinejad.. for instance, is it meant that these men too were ‘liberals’ in a former life, but got their asses ‘mugged by reality”, or what? ..thank y’all

I am sick and tired of the hypocritical saber rattling over Iran re nuclear …coming from nuclear countries themselves. To even hint at invading a sovereign country because of the leader rhetoric is bloody ridiculous.

Why is Iran the bad guys after all it has not invaded another sovereign country I understand for over at least a hundred years past ( Iraq invaded Iran not the other way around ) where as Israel and US ..yeah we all know about their very recent and very shameful history.

What is US and Israels real bitch or anger at Iran … nothing to do with Iran trading as the fourth largest oil supplier in Euro dollars and not US nah ..as the Tui add says yeah right
