To say that satire is meant to change the world is a bit like saying that science fiction is meant to predict the future, or that ghost stories are meant to induce belief in the supernatural. If all satire is art with a practical focus, or polemic in fancy dress, then Gulliver's Travels, Dr Strangelove and "Chickamauga" are practical (and hence artistic) failures, since the various forms of human idiocy which they attack are all still with us. If they are successful works of art, however, they must be successful satires, since the main intention behind each of them is satiric.

Usually you are right, satire isn't able to effect much obvious change for the better in the event of overwhelming force, but it encourages and focuses and enrages people and over time it probably effects a shift in our world views if it speaks to the common things about us.

Werewolf needs a font and color lay out makeover.
So next time you are scratching your scrote check out Werewolf in black, and with lines separating the stories.

The RED is off putting.
stop. I remember I have not yet funded werewolf, feel guilty and so feel I am unable to read stories.

...

Something to be said for satire?

Of for sure.

If we're not laughing, we'd be crying, and tears blur the aim.
